Greenplant is a member of the Hire Association Europe. All plant and equipment is made available in accordance with the Hire Association Europe model conditions of Hire Identification and Deposits. A deposit is required for each hire and non trade account customers will be required to produce proof of identity such as a driving licence or utility bill.

Payment Terms
All prices shown are subject to the addition of VAT at the appropriate rate at the time of invoice. Greenplant accept all major credit cards VISA, MasterCard, Debit Card, etc. Payment can also be made via Direct Debit – ask in-store for more information.

Trade Accounts
Trade accounts are welcomed and available subject to status and approval. Download a credit application form here, or please ask for a credit application form in-store.

Greenplant offer an optional delivery and collection service including crane offload. A charge for this service will be required and determined based on the mileage and handling involved. Please ask instore for more information.

Hire Periods

“Day” up to 24 consecutive hours

“Week” from four to seven consecutive days

“Weekend” from any time after 4 pm on Friday to 9 am on the following Monday


Hirer’s Responsibilities
Hirer’s Responsibilities are set out in Greenplant’s Terms and Conditions* for the hiring of equipment which are available in-store, online (accessible here) and are available to view before each and every hire contract. Generally breakdown or breakage due to a defect in equipment is a Greenplant responsibility; any other loss, breakage or damage, apart from fair wear and tear, is chargeable to the Hirer. Normal maintenance of equipment whilst on hire (e.g. oil, greasing and keeping clean) is the responsibility of the Hirer.

Insurance and Non-Return of Equipment
Greenplant strictly requires customers to insure all equipment against loss or damage whilst on hire. Equipment not returned from hire will be charged at the full replacement value. This charge will be in addition to any other accrued charges.
