Kop Hill Climb 2026: what a ride!

This event just keeps getting bigger and better. With over 12,000 visitors on Saturday alone, the Kop Hill Climb Festival was metaphorically rocking and literally rolling. As event partners supplying much of the event infrastructure, Greenplant were in the middle of the action.

Alongside the roar of vehicles from 1930's motorbikes to a... satsuma...? whipping up the hill at top speed and maximum volume, there was an impressive collection of hundreds of cars and bikes that are very old, very exotic or both!

Our stand along the main thoroughfare in the paddock was a constant stream of kids and kids at heart eager for the chance to sit in a digger or telehandler or try their hand at speed basketball. We made sure to have some of our shiniest kit on display, and enjoyed the visual feast of vintage motors across the way from us. Some of our team even had the envious opportunity to be passengers on rides up the hill.

The Kop Hill Climb raises funds for local charities each year, with last year's bursaries topping £120,000. This year's final charity pot hasn't been confirmed yet, but is sure to be an impressive haul that will benefit a lot of people in the local area.
